Where do you read the newspaper? The Uvalde Leader-News is again accepting photo submissions from people reading the newspaper in far-flung or unique geographical locations. The newspaper first held the contest in 2013 and received dozens of entries, which appeared one at a time on the front page of each edition of the newspaper – for nearly one year.Simply e-mail, mail or bring your photos into us on or before Dec. 31, 2016, to be eligible for the contest. The Uvalde Coyotes go up against the San Antonio Harlandale Indians in District 29-4A football competition tomorrow night. Kick-off time for the contest in the Honey Bowl is scheduled for 7 p.m. The Indians were the pre-season pick to win the District 29-4A football championship this season. Isaac Martinez, who has served as head football coach at Harlandale for over 20 years, began the season with a large number of returning starters and lettermen from the 2012 season.
