Lobos wind up tied for first place
The Uvalde Lobos captured a part of the District 29-4A volleyball championship Tuesday night as they defeated the Southside Cardinals, 25-11, 25-14, and 25-10, in the Uvalde High School Gym. With the win, Coach Stephanie Coates’ Lobos, now 22-18 for the season, finished in a three-way tie for first place in the district volleyball standings. The Lobos, Medina Valley, and Floresville each finished district play with a record of 11-3.
