Uvalde Assistant Chief of Police Mark Busbee’s last day at the Uvalde Police Department will be Nov. 22, according to a city of Uvalde release announcing his resignation. Busbee, who has been with the department since Oct. 1, 2010, has taken a position with the Texas Municipal Police Association. “It has been my pleasure to work at the police department for over three years with a collection of dedicated people who do a difficult and often dangerous job,” Busbee said.
