A full crowd turned out Thursday, when Justice Sandee Bryan Marion was in Uvalde to discuss the structure of Texas courts and a wide variety of recent cases, including cases involving First Amendment rights. Marion, who has served on the Fourth Court of Appeals for 12 years, was the featured speaker during Thursday’s Uvalde Rotary Club meeting. In the state of Texas, there are two supreme courts. The first is the Texas Supreme Court.
