Where do you read the newspaper? The Uvalde Leader-News is again accepting photo submissions from people reading the newspaper in far-flung or unique geographical locations. The newspaper first held the contest in 2013 and received dozens of entries, which appeared one at a time on the front page of each edition of the newspaper – for nearly one year.Simply e-mail, mail or bring your photos into us on or before Dec. 31, 2016, to be eligible for the contest. Raising a child is undoubtedly the hardest job bestowed upon parents, and this is especially true for parents of children with special educational, behavioral or medical issues. New to Uvalde, where she is preparing to launch a new school program, is Lorraine Register, owner of Lorraine’s Learning Center for Children with Special Needs.
