A record-breaking sale of $427,780 was recorded Saturday as the 2014 Uvalde County Junior Livestock Show came to a close at the Uvalde County Arena at the Fairplex. A total of 456 entries were shown by 197 exhibitors, and 174 projects were sold during the sale. That number includes three farm projects, which was a category added to the sale this year. This year’s sale total exceeded the 2013 amount of $372,888 by an impressive $54,891.
