Margarito Estrada of Uvalde died on Feb. 19, 2014, at the Sunrise Nursing Home in San Antonio. He was born on Oct. 16, 1939, in Mexico to Ildifonsa Vialpando and Jose Maria Estrada. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Domingo De La Garza; two brothers, Jacinto De La Garza and Eulalio De La Garza; and one sister, Juanita Ale De La Garza. He is survived by his wife, Leonor Estrada of Uvalde; two sons, Erbey Estrada and wife, Ana, of Minnesota and Sergio Estrada and wife, Veronica, of Uvalde; one daughter, Sonia Esparza of Uvalde; two brothers, Refugio Estrada and wife, Rosa, of Eagle Pass and Guadalupe De La Garza and wife, Graciela, of Uvalde; two sisters, Antonia Estrada of Eagle Pass and Socorro Hernandez of Uvalde. Glenn Patrick Felts, 50, of Terlingua died on Feb. 4, 2014, in Terlingua. He was born on June 18, 1963, in Odessa. Felts grew up in Sabinal, attended Sabinal schools and graduated from high school in 1981. He advanced his education in Waco graduating from Texas State Technical College with a degree in electronic engineering. He had lived in Terlingua for 23 years operating La Kiva Restaurant and Bar. He is survived by his parents, Milton and Vaneta Felts of Comfort; one sister, Molly Gillespie and husband, Jason, of Portland; one niece, Shelby Gillespie of Portland; one nephew, Mason Gillespie of Portland; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Carl Byron Hilderbran Sr., 86, of Uvalde died on Feb. 17, 2014, at his residence. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
