Opal Louise Eoff went to be with The Lord on Feb. 5, 2014, at the age of 75 after her long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and teacher. Opal was born on Oct. 26, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas to Herman and Louise Schneider. Opal was an avid sports fan and played on a championship softball team, loved teaching, being an Eastern Star and refereeing volleyball games. In Opal and Bo’s retirement years they moved to Sabinal, Texas, where they loved the country life and cherished their domino club and friends. Upon death, she has been reunited with her husband, Elza (Bo) Eoff. She is survived by her sons, Leland Eoff, wife, Bobbie, of Marion; Carl Eoff, wife, Cheryl, of New Braunfels; daughter, Sharon Marshall, husband, Milo, of Spring Branch; granddaughter, Dakota Landwehr, husband, Craig, of Lytle, Texas; great-granddaughters, Chevy and Savannah Landwehr; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Opal, Mom, Grandma and Aunt Opal - thanks for your influence in our lives and rest in blessed peace with Jesus. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family would like to thank the staff of Sodalis Assisted Living and Kay with CIMA Hospice for the loving care given to their mother. THE PRECEDING IS A PAID OBITUARY.
