Where do you read the newspaper? The Uvalde Leader-News is again accepting photo submissions from people reading the newspaper in far-flung or unique geographical locations. Alessandra Ortiz ripped a three-run double with two outs in the fourth inning to break a tie ball game Friday night. Ortiz and her Uvalde Lobos teammates went on to record a 17-4 victory over the Harlandale Indians in their District 29-4A softball opener played at San Antonio. With the bases loaded, two outs, and a 3-2 count, Ortiz fouled off three pitches before she doubled to deep left field to plate three runs.
