Where do you read the newspaper? The Uvalde Leader-News is again accepting photo submissions from people reading the newspaper in far-flung or unique geographical locations. City Council is putting a stop to mobile vending in the city of Uvalde – in a way. The city fathers voted Tuesday evening to approve an ordinance regulating itinerant vendors and eliminating door-todoor sales. The ordinance does not apply to mobile food vendors who stop their vehicle on a public street at the request of a customer, as long as the transaction takes less than 15 minutes.
