Where do you read the newspaper? The Uvalde Leader-News is again accepting photo submissions from people reading the newspaper in far-flung or unique geographical locations. The newspaper first held the contest in 2013 and received dozens of entries, which appeared one at a time on the front page of each edition of the newspaper – for nearly one year.Simply e-mail, mail or bring your photos into us on or before Dec. 31, 2016, to be eligible for the contest. Mary Bales holds the Uvalde Leader-News while perched on “The Ledge” on the Skydeck of the Willis Tower. The glass bay, located on the 103rd floor, provides an unobstructed view of Chicago through the windows and glass floor – 1,353 feet straight down. Greg and Mary Bales visited the 110-story Chicago icon while visiting their daughter, Amy, and new son-in-law, Marco Noetzli.
