Burglaries in Uvalde have doubled over the past 30 days compared to previous months, and police say over half of the crimes are related. A total of 50 burglaries were reported to the department between Feb. 14 and March 14. That number includes burglaries of 24 motor vehicles, 20 businesses and six homes.
