Uvalde police experienced the shock of a lifetime Tuesday when they were shot with the Taser device during a certification course. A total of 16 officers completed the eight-hour Taser certification course. The roster of now-certified law enforcement officers includes Lt. Mike Hernandez, Sgt. Eduardo Canales, Cpl. Detective Adrian Gonzales, Cpl. Louis Landry, Cpl. Bobby Ruiz, K-9 Officer Felipe Ramon and officers Jose Rodriguez, Rudy Astran III, Ramon Morin, Hoshi Segura, Colton Valenzuela, Fred De La Cruz, Brandon Smith, Chad Kretschmer and Derek Reagan.
