Students graduate from Pioneer Youth Leadership Program
On May 22, six students from Uvalde High School graduated from the Pioneers Youth Leadership Program and on May 30, nine students from Knippa High School graduated. These students went through an entire year of exercises for leadership and community and professional development while demonstrating their ability to be Uvalde’s next community leaders. They consistently exceeded expectations and set the bar high for students in Uvalde County. “The Uvalde County Pioneers are next community leaders that we need in local business and government,” said Travis Helm, Pioneers Program director.
