Warren Edward “Eb” Gourley, 80, of Uvalde died on June 29, 2014, at his residence. A memorial service will be held today at 4 p.m. at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. He was born on Feb. 14, 1934, in Blanco to Lilly Jonas Gourley and Buck Gourley. He is survived by twins, Kate Glasscock and husband, Riggin, and Toby Gourley, all of Uvalde; five sisters, Dorothy Tropy, Carolyn Milam, Pam Maddox and Jan Olfers, all of Blanco and Evelyn Webber of Bastrop; and two brothers, Tom Gourley and Norm Gourley, both of Blanco. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Hazel Calhoun; and one brother, Mike Gourley. The family requests memorials be made to Uvalde Hospice, 1038B Garner Field Road, Uvalde, TX 78801.
