Uvalde Leader-News photo contest
Where do you read the newspaper? The Uvalde Leader-News is again accepting photo submissions from people reading the newspaper in far-flung or unique geographical locations. The newspaper first held the contest in 2013 and received dozens of entries, which appeared one at a time on the front page of each edition of the newspaper – for nearly one year.Simply e-mail, mail or bring your photos into us on or before Dec. 31, 2016, to be eligible for the contest. Frank A. Ramsey holds the Uvalde Leader-News while standing in front of a bright red oak tree that is located in his neighborhood at El Norte Circle in Uvalde. Although Ramsey has traveled the world, he chose to take a photo in Uvalde because to him, “There’s no place like home.”
