Albert V. Lopez, 60, of Uvalde died on July 28, 2014, in Uvalde. He was born on Dec. 14, 1953, in Uvalde to Esiquia Velasquez Lopez and Bernardino Lopez. He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Lopez of Uvalde; two sisters, Nicolasa Rodriguez and Dora Payne, both of Uvalde; one brother, Roy Lopez of Uvalde; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sylvia Lara; and two brothers, Bernardino Lopez Jr. and Andres Lopez. A rosary was recited Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary Chapel. A funeral Mass was held yesterday at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
