Where do you read the newspaper? The Uvalde Leader-News is again accepting photo submissions from people reading the newspaper in far-flung or unique geographical locations. Kevin Duane Alexander, 41, of Leakey died on July 29, 2014, at his residence. He was born on Sept. 11, 1972, in Beaumont to Mary “Anderson” Alexander and John E. Alexander. He married Lupita Hernandez on June 26, 2010, at Casa Falcon Restaurant in Camp Wood. According to the family, Alexander had a heart that was big enough to love anything, everything and everyone. He was a hard worker who loved his job and never complained. He enjoyed working and providing for his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Lupita Alexander; one daughter, Brianna Hernandez and husband, Johnathan Ramirez; one son, Mathew Hernandez and wife, Cassandra Gonzalez; grandmother, Ruthie M. Anderson; one sister, Deidre L. Alexander; three brothers, John “Jay” E. Alexander Jr. and wife, Kimberly, Terence C. Alexander and wife, Kristine, and Roman Bob and wife, Betty Bob; one aunt; five grandsons; mother- and father-in-law; one grandmother-in-law; one brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law; nine nephews; and seven nieces. Visitation was held Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Chapel in Camp Wood, followed by funeral services officiated by Jimmy Albarado.
