Evangelina Chapa, 87, of Uvalde died on Oct. 17, 2023, at Amistad Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Uvalde. Funeral services are pending with Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, and a complete obituary will appear in a future edition of the Uvalde Leader-News.
