Olivarez wins state powerlifting championship
Uvalde High School junior Marilyn Olivarez captured first place at the state powerlifting meet on March 15 at Frisco’s Comerica Center. Hundreds compete in second-annual run for Eva Mireles
More than 500 people signed up for the second-annual race memorializing the late Eva Mireles. The Eva Strong Memorial 5K/10K Walk/Run took place March 16 in Uvalde’s downtown.
