A story titled “Delgado to step into interim chief role April 6” that ran on pages 1A and 15A in the March 24, 2024, edition of the Uvalde Leader-News misidentified the date that Uvalde Police Department Chief Daniel Rodriguez resigned. The story has since been corrected online to reflect the accurate resignation date, March 12. The newspaper regrets this error.
