City to canvass votes from runoff election
Uvalde City Council members will canvass votes from the Dec. 14 runoff election in a special meeting set Dec. 19 at 5 p.m. at city hall. Election winner Hector Luevano will assume his duties as mayor after the canvas. Luevano said he expects to be ceremonially sworn in to office at the Jan. 14, 2025, city meeting.
