Housing authority to discuss finances

The city of Uvalde Housing Authority board of commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 27 in the community room at 1700 Garner Field Road. Executive director Virginia Limon will give an update on the financial condition and status of the housing authority, and commissioners will also receive a report on the housing choice voucher program.

Property taxes due by Jan. 31

Uvalde County property owners have until Friday, Jan. 31 to pay their 2024 tax bill without incurring a penalty fee.
