Armando V. Aguero
Armando Villarreal Aguero, 76, of Uvalde died on March 7, 2024, at Amistad Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Uvalde on June 26, 1947, to Juanita (Villarreal) and Hilario Sanchez Aguero.
He married Maria Canales on Oct. 26, 1973, in Uvalde.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, of Uvalde; two daughters, Amanda Aguero and Lisa Aguero, both of Uvalde; two sons, Armando Aguero Jr. and wife, Elizabeth Espinosa, of San Antonio and Adolfo Aguero of Puerto Rico; brother, Ernesto Aguero of Uvalde; sister, Dora Martinez and husband, Enrique, of Knippa; four grandchildren, Marc Martinez, Mia Martinez, Jacqueline Espinosa, and Aaron Aguero; great-grandchild, Alana Rueda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Rodolfo Aguero.
Visitation was held on March 12-13 p.m. and a rosary was recited both days at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
