The Uvalde Coyotes dropped a close one last Tuesday afternoon.
Perennial powerhouse Fredericksburg topped the Coyotes, 41-32, in Uvalde High School’s Harvey Kinchlow Gym.
“The Coyotes competed well against a good, well-coached team today,” said UHS head coach Ramon Burato.
“Playing good opponents make you a better team. Eventually, we going to put things all together.”
Joseph Flores topped the scoring for the Coyotes. He totaled 18 points. He hit on five three-point shots. Others scoring were Devon Franklin with seven points, Daniel Perez with three points, and Jarrell Hernandez and Gabriel Larralde each with two points.
