Darlyne D. Stewart

Darlyne Davenport Stewart, 83, of Boerne, formerly of Uvalde, died on March 3, 2024, at her residence.

She was born on April 10, 1940, in San Antonio to Dorothy (Angermiller) and Albert Irving Davenport.

She graduated from Uvalde High School in 1958 where she played basketball and was a cheerleader.

Her family said she was raised in the Church of Christ and loved God and her family. She worked at Texas Farm Store for many years where her family said she was loved by many for her loving spirit. They said she was an avid bowler for many years and loved playing cards and dominoes.

She is survived by her daughter, Melony Fellows and husband, Roy, of Boerne; son, Randy Klein and wife, Tina, of Uvalde; eight grandchildren, Chase Fellows, Bryce Fellows, Jared Fellows, Briana Brooks, Kyle Klein, Conrad Klein, Coleman Klein, and Kyra Routh; 13 great-grandchildren, Landon Klein, Carter Fellows, Gunner Klein, Mason Fellows, Charles Routh, Brinley Routh, Wyatt Fellows, Bennet Brooks, Tessa Routh, Teagan Routh, Oliver Fellows, Maizie Klein, and Carsyn Brooks; two nieces, Sherlyn Bourne and Tammy Bammert and nephew, Kevin Crowsey.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marilyn Weber.

A graveside service was held on March 7 at 11 a.m. at Sabinal Cemetery.
