James T. Renfro

James Tom Renfro, 53, of Uvalde, Texas, passed away on April 23, 2020, following a brief illness.

James was born August 22, 1966, in Uvalde to Lloyd Renfro and Margaret English Renfro.

James married the love of his life, Cheryl Tuckness Renfro, on December 3, 1999.

James was larger than life and lived life to the fullest. He was passionate about anything he did in life and did it 100%. He was an avid golfer and didn’t hesitate to tell you about your game. He loved to work on cars, drag race and go down the river. He was a welder by profession and took great pride in his work. He perfected anything he did in life and did it his way.

James is survived by his wife, Cheryl of 20 years, and one daughter Haylee. His mother, Margaret English Renfro, sisters, Joni (Rodney) Deorsam, Jolene (Richard) Williams, brothers-in-law, Mike Tuckness, Danny (Carla) Trevino. Nieces and nephews, Erika Trevino, Arron (Tiffany) Trevino, Justin (Megan) Deorsam, Jillian (Mase) Duge, Jeremy (Sarah) Deorsam, Patrick (Andrea) Williams, Heather (Gilbert) Ayala, Holli Williams. Great nieces and nephews Michaela, Matthew and Grant Williams, Colt and Sadie Ayala, Aubree Deorsam, Grayson Duge, and Hadley Deorsam along with numerous cousins and friends who were family.

James is preceded in death by his father Lloyd Renfro, paternal grandparents, Bill and Ethel Renfro, maternal grandparents, Tom and Sallie English, father-in-law, Sam Tuckness and sister-in-law, Carla Trevino.
