John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only son Jesus Christ that whosever shall believe in Him shall not perish but Have everlasting life; for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned, but he that believes not is already condemned because they have not believed in the name of God’s only son.

What love God had for the world that He could love the world regardless of how the world was, in its fallen state. God sent to us what He loved the most, His one and only son, so that through him He could give salvation to everyone.

Romans 5:8-9: But God demonstrated His love toward us that while we were sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through Him.

His Son, is God’s love for us! His name is Jesus Christ! The way God’s love was manifested to us was by Him sending His one and only son to the world. Why, so that we might live through Him. And this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us first! His son was sent to be the propitiation for our sins.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No man has ever seen God; if we love one another God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and him in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the savior of the world.

If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. 1 John 4:11-16 This then is how love is made complete in us, so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: in this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. Perfect love drives out fear, because fear has torment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. So then we love because He first loved us! 1 John 4: 9-19

Great love, perfect love, never ending love, genuine love, pure love; this friends was Gods message for our lives before time even existed. This was His perfect plan for a fallen people. This was the masterpiece that would one day bring us back to Him. Love…Great Love.
