With the start of pre-season practice for fall sports set to begin in about one week, Uvalde High Schools athletes are urged to be ready.
According to UHS head football coach and athletic director Wade Miller, athletes must have a physical exam and have all paperwork complete before the will be allowed to participate in pre-season practices.
Miller recommends athletes begin acclimating to the heat and humidity.
