Richard C. Musquiz

Richard C. Musquiz, 72, of Uvalde died on Dec. 21, 2017, in Kerrville.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be held on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

He was born on Sept. 7, 1945, in Pontiac, Michigan to Diamantina (Chapa) and Leandro Musquiz.

Musquiz is survived by three daughters, Faith Marie Ibarra and husband, Joaquin, of Uvalde, Dora Denise Musquiz-Long and husband, Isaac, of San Antonio, and Christine Musquiz of Colorado; three sons, Richard Musquiz Jr. of Colorado, Richard T. Musquiz and wife, Frankie, of Pasadena, and Erik Lee Musquiz of Uvalde; father, of Uvalde; one sister, Lydia Musquiz of Uvalde; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.
