Sabinal churches hosting multiple activities, events

At First Baptist, the study on the Book of Hebrews will resume on Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. youth group for grades 7-12 meets at 6:30 p.m. each Wednesday. It includes food, fellowship, games, and Bible study. 

At Grace Community Fellowship, praise night begins today, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m. It is open to all.

New Life Fellowship Trinity Temple will host a men’s breakfast on Feb. 4 at 9:30 a.m. in the Born Again Barn. Men and their sons may attend. 

At Sabinal United Methodist, the Bible News Club has begun once again. Pre-K through sixth-grade students must register first, and registration forms are available at Sabinal Elementary, the Post Office, and the church. 

The church bus is available for transportation, and the club meets every Wednesday for Bible study, food, and music. Children must have parental approval. 

The study on “The Chosen” will be held on Jan. 31.

A new opportunity awaits St. Patrick Catholic Church parishioners: The Mexican American Catholic College, part of the Archdiocese of San Antonio and Institute for Lay Ecclesial Ministry and Service, will offer the Parish Ministry Formation this year. 

It consists of six courses, offered in English, costing $20 each. All parish members now have an opportunity for faith formation designed for adults. Approval by the pastor is required upon submission of the registration form, found online at maccsa.regfox.com/parish-ministry-formation.
