Tom E. McCullough

Tom Earl McCullough, 51, of Uvalde died on Feb. 26, 2019, at his residence.

He was born on May 25, 1967, in Falfurrias to Betty (Boles) and Ernest McCullough.

He was a life-long resident of Uvalde. The family says he was a kind man, quick to help anyone in need. He loved practical jokes and had an infectious sense of humor.

McCullough was an avid fisherman who loved spending days on the lake fishing with family and friends. The family says he was known for his woodworking and mechanical skills, and he could fix almost anything.

He is survived by his mother, of Uvalde; his sister, Mary Hendrix and husband, Robert; two  nephews, Nate Hendrix and Drew Hendrix; and niece, Leah Hendrix, all of Austin; aunt, Christine Hawkins and husband, Sam; and two cousins, Trina Hawkins and John Hawkins, all of Uvalde.

McCullough was preceded in death by his father.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
