Everardo “Lalo” Zamora has filed for reelection as the incumbent District 1 representative on the Uvalde City Council.

Zamora, who also served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, said he feels after four years he has learned city policies and procedures, and he wants to move forward with plans for the city.

He asks citizens in Precinct 1 to vote for him on May 7, so he can continue fighting to better the town.

He is focused on fiscal responsibility, improving play spaces for children and maintaining city cemeteries, as well as street repair work.

“In my four years on the city council, we haven’t raised taxes. We try to keep city fees down, it is important to be responsible with the public’s money,” Zamora says.
