County draft budget tops $54.1 million

Uvalde County Commissioners on July 28 approved a second draft of the 2025-2026 budget. The updated draft totals more than $54.1 million, an increase of about $22.6 million from the initial draft reviewed a month earlier, which only included six core funds.
