Sabinal celebrates graduation, plans summer meals
Graduation on Friday, May 22, went off without a hitch. Valedictorian Violet Rodriguez addressed the standing-room-only crowd, as did Evelyn Menchaca, the salutatorian. FREEIt’s a boy! Pilar and Pedro Samuel Navarro of Uvalde announce the birth of their son, Pedro Ignacio Navarro, on May 14, 2026, at Uvalde Memorial Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and measured 19.5 inches in length. Maternal grandparents are Blanca Estella Zapata of Uvalde and the late Ignacio Zapata. Paternal grandmother is Margo Navarro Chavez of Uvalde.
