Courthouse closing April 14 for Mitchell’s funeral

The Uvalde County Courthouse will close at noon April 14 so county employees may attend the funeral of longtime former Uvalde County Judge Bill Mitchell. The funeral is set for 1 p.m. April 14 at the Uvalde Methodist Church, with a reception to follow at 2 p.m. The courthouse will reopen at 8 a.m. April 15.
