Lobos tip off basketball Nov. 8
The Uvalde Lobos will begin their 2025-26 basketball season on Oct. 8 at Eagle Pass when they take on the C.C. Winn Lady Mavericks in the season opener for both schools. Tip-off time for the varsity game is scheduled for 12:30 p.m., while the sub-varsity teams will do battle at 11 a.m.
Perez wins first place in the football contest
Raul Perez is the $50 first place winner of the Uvalde Leader-News football contest for the weekend of Oct. 24-26. Perez tied with four other contestants with only two missed games.
