Tuesday night, the Uvalde Coyotes will be at San Antonio for District 29-5A basketball action against the Harlandale Indians. The varsity game is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start and the sub-varsity games will begin at 5 p.m.

Lobos host Harlandale Tuesday
Following a week of road games, the Uvalde Lobos will be back home to host the San Antonio Harlandale Indians Tuesday. Tip-off time for the varsity hoops contest is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in Uvalde High School’s Harvey Kinchlow Gym.

City approves purchase of sewer truck, police radios
Uvalde City Council approved the purchase of a combination sewer truck for $345,000 and nine hand-held police radios for $36,000 during a regular meeting Tuesday at City Hall. The sewer truck will not replace the city’s current 1998 model but will instead serve as a backup vehicle.
