Face painting, free books and games are a hit at Go Blue Day

Numerous children and adults attended the Go Blue Day family-support event held Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Uvalde Memorial Park. Lobos face 29-5A’s best in track action today and Saturday

At Floresville today, the Uvalde Lobos will begin competition in the two-day District 29-5A track-and-field meet. At 10 a.m. today, the 3,200-meter run finals and the field events will get underway. The running-event preliminary races will start at 5 p.m. today. Running-event finals are scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday.

She focuses on her son’s day-to-day accomplishments. Corina and Ray Rodriguez have two sons, 8-year-old Aaden and 6-year-old Ethan. Aaden was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 years old.
