Israel ‘Relie’ Falcon

Israel “Relie” Falcon, 60, of Camp Wood died on March 7, 2014, at Lillian Hudspeth Memorial Hospital in Sonora. He was born March 3, 1954, in Camp Wood to Carolina Falcon and Genovevo “Keno” Falcon Sr. He is survived by one son, James “Snapper” Allen Lynch of Uvalde; one daughter, Naomi Falcon Davila and husband, Rafael Jr., of Uvalde; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Keno Falcon Jr. of Camp Wood and Gome Falcon of Del Rio; one sister, Linda Luna of El Paso; six nephews; five nieces; and numerous greatnieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Armando Falcon. Pallbearers were Gomeciendo Falcon Jr., Ariel Falcon, Roy Falcon, Marcos Ortiz Jr., Rafael Davila Jr., Rafael Davila III, Keno Falcon III, Michael Falcon, Freddy Falcon and Arturo Aguero. Recitation of the Holy Rosary was held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Chapel in Camp Wood. Mass of Christian burial was held yesterday at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Camp Wood with the Rev. Sady Santana officiating.
