Home surveillance captures burglary
Despite a surveillance video that has been shared more than 500 times, there are still no concrete leads on the identity of a man who took a purse that contained $700 in cash, a debit card, credit card and 10 blank checks, from an unlocked vehicle on North Park Street.
Jennifer and Joe Tom Haby solicited the help of Facebook friends to identify the individual responsible for burglarizing their vehicle. The suspect was captured on home video surveillance, which was posted on Joe Tom Haby’s Facebook profile.
Police were dispatched to the Haby residence in the 900 block of North Park Street, where home surveillance showed an unidentified man entering the family’s 2017 Ford Explorer at approximately 3:42 a.m. Sunday morning. The vehicle was not locked.
