Wrestling team seeks more athletes

Though Uvalde High School had only two wrestlers competing in the recent state meet, the two Uvaldeans recorded enough points to place UHS 16th out of the 55 high schools that participated in the meet.

Sophomore Adelyhda Perez lost to senior Za’maia Marshall of College Station, 1-0, in the state girls’ 148- pound class championship match.
