CHDI attains rare designation

Community Health Development, Inc., recently achieved Gold Advocacy Center of Excellence status. The center is the first in the state of Texas to reach gold status, and one of only nine gold-level centers in the United States. The designation, given by the National Association of Community Health Centers, is reached by demonstrating an ongoing commitment to advocacy. Centers can achieve this by including operationalizing advocacy practices and creating supporting infrastructure.
