Jo Ann Creech, 91, of Uvalde died on Feb. 21, 2020, at home in Uvalde.

Creech was born on Dec. 1, 1928, in Brackettville to Leola Rosie (O’Bryant) and Richard Lee Merck.

She is survived by son, Leonard Arthur Creech and wife, Beverly, of Uvalde; sister, Jean Hall of Uvalde; grandson, Jayce Creech and wife, Corinna, of Pflugerville; three granddaughters, Capri Creech and husband, Brandon Oliphant, of Uvalde, Cameron Moore of Sabinal, and Lorry Tuttle and husband, Patrick, of Pflugerville; eight great-grandchildren, Hanna Tuttle, Payton Tuttle, Aiden Pollard, Ryan Creech, Cameron Hinojosa, Jordan Hinojosa, Kaiden Creech, and Addelyyn Mosqueda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Andrew Creech; one sister, Joyce Roberts; and two daughters, Jeanoyce Wilson, and Lacie Joleen Creech.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary, with interment following at Vance Cemetery.
