Linda L. Littleton

Linda Lee Morris Littleton, 70, of Knippa died on Oct. 26, 2022, at Methodist Stone Oak Hospital in San Antonio.

She was born on Feb. 23, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois, to Frieda (Kessler) and William Morris. 

She graduated from Sanderson High School in 1961.

She married Bobby Jett Littleton in Knippa on August 22, 1964.

She attended Howard Payne University and graduated from University of North Texas in 1965. She was an elementary school teacher in Farmers Branch, Midland, and Uvalde. 

Littleton loved singing, playing the guitar and teaching guitar lessons. She also sang in church choir and played church bells. 

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, of Knippa; son, Bo Jett Littleton and wife, Crystal, of Hondo; daughter, Lisha Lyn Magnon and husband, Matt, of Knippa; two grandsons, Brandon Jett Littleton and Colt Magnon; sister, Mary Anne Fortune and husband, Jerry, of Knippa; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bobby Morris and Bill Morris; and sister, Eula Mae Mackey.

Visitation began Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Knippa and was followed by a funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment followed at Knippa Cemetery. 

Pallbearers were Danny Fortune, Bill Littleton, Bobby Sanders, Will Littleton, Richard Carruth, and James Kramer.
