Robert G. Crump Jr.
Robert Griffin Crump Jr., 84, of Hacienda died on April 18, 2018, in San Antonio.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Baptist Temple Church of Uvalde.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1933, in Uvalde to Alma (Peebles) and Robert G. Crump Sr.
He married and was divorced from three women: Ann Crump, Martha Crump, and Alicia Crump.
He worked as a welder, truck driver, brakeman and then conductor for Southern Pacific Railroad.
Since the late 1980s, he was the sole resident of the community of Hacienda, located on the Southern Pacific line a quarter mile east of the Nueces River and eight miles northwest of Uvalde.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and ex-wife, Ann Crump.
Crump is survived by brother, Ed Crump and wife, Sharon; nephew, Travis Crump and wife, Abby, all of San Antonio; niece, Dierdre Blonk and husband, Johan, of Elkhorn, Nebraska; three, great-nieces, Femke Blonk, Nienke Blonk and Arianne Blonk; one aunt; one uncle; and numerous cousins.
