Firefighters take on swift water training

Hunter’s Roundup adds barbecue contest

The 42nd-annual Hunter’s Roundup, presented by the Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held Nov. 3-4 at the Uvalde County Fairplex, 215 Veterans Lane. UCAD directors split over chief appraiser’s contract

Uvalde County Appraisal District directors were deadlocked in a 2-2 vote last week over chief appraiser Roberto Valdez’s employment contract, which expires in September of 2024.
